evenito allows you to customise the design, structure, language and sender information of each message. The following article shows you how you can customise your message accordingly;

Search the message list for the message you want to edit. If you scroll over the message you want to edit, you will see the actions on the right-hand side. Click on the edit pencil, to open and edit the message.
Edit the general message settings and store the sender information, by selecting the edit wheel at the top right.
- Type: Select the message type.
- Sending time and date: Define the date and time of the message sending. The message will be sent to you accordingly in the timeline under Event-Center and displayed at the news.
Please note: With the exception of the registration & deregistration confirmation, the dispatch must currently still be triggered manually.
- Sender name
- Email sender
- Subject (visible to recipient)
- Select the desired message template from the dropdown. The template must first be placed in your organisation.
- Name of the message in the message overview (this is only displayed to you).
- Based on the defined groups you can determine the recipient group/s determine
- Reply email address (optional)
- Enter a reply email address, which will be contacted automatically as soon as the customer replies to the e-mail. If none is stored, the sender email address will automatically be selected.
- CC email address (optional)
- BCC email address (optional)
For the fields sender name, email sender, subject and reply email address you can also use a placeholder. Just click on this iconnext to the field.
Don't forget to save all changes with the "Save" button at the top right.
Set up message in multiple language
You're planning a multilingual event and you've set up a message in the basic settings e.g. in addition to German, the language(s) English, French or Italian have already been selected?
To the left of the "Send test email" button you will find the language changer. Click on it and select the individual languages to switch between the individual templates and the content, subject, sender and sender name in the sender name in the respective language.
The icon shows you whether you have stored all contents correctly in all languages. Red symbolises that adjustments are still necessary, green means that all changes have been correctly entered. have been entered correctly.
If you have finished setting up your message in one language and would like to transfer the design to another language, simply click on the three-dot symbol (top right) and select "Copy from another language". In this way, for example, your message set up in German will also be displayed in English and you only have to adjust the texts.
Building the email editor
In the following, we will show you how the editor is structured and how you can enter your design and the corresponding content.
In this tab you set the basic settings for the width of the email body, the background colour of the content and the fill area, as well as the standard font and the corresponding font and link colour.
The lines determine the structure of the message. They define the horizontal composition of a section.
A line can contain one to four columns. The use of several columns allows you to place different content elements next to each other at the same time.
Each row has its own settings. This gives you flexibility in the design your message. For example, you can define the background colour of an entire line, a content or a specific column independently of each other.
You can insert the line at the desired position in the message via drag & drop.
After you have defined the general settings such as the width of the email body and the the colours and have set up your structure with the help of the lines, you need to fill them with content. You can also drag and drop the content into the predefined lines.

Each content has its own functions and settings, which can be accessed by clicking on the content opening in the window on the left.
Please note: If you compose your message in different languages, don't forget to adapt the content for the respective language. The symbol next to the language indicates whether the content for all languages is already stored (green: everything is stored, red: translations are missing).
Adaptations to the structure or content
Once the structure is in place, you can fill it with your content (e.g. upload images, insert text, adjust colour and font, etc.).
Move rows and content
If you scroll over or click on the line or content field in the text body, you will see the move icon.
This allows you to move the line or the content in the corresponding message in the corresponding message.
Delete or copy
If you want to delete or copy a line/content, then click on the corresponding corresponding field. The two icons for deleting or copying the field will appear at the bottom right. Copy the field.
Adjust colour, line spacing and internal spacing.
Click in the line/content so that on the left side the edit bar appears. In the edit bar you can change the background, font colour as well as the line and inside spacing of the corresponding line/content adjust.
Formatting the text.
The formatting of your text (e.g. font type and size or links) can be adjusted per field. To do this, click in the text field, the black formatting navigation will open. This is basically structured according to the familiar Word document scheme.
Links can be inserted by using the "chain icon". You can link to other websites and files (e.g. PDF, Excel). With the symbol to the right symbol to the right can be used to remove links.
Click in the desired text field in which you want to insert a placeholder. The black formatting navigation opens. Then click on "More" and "Show placeholders" to get to the placeholder manager. You can find more information about placeholders in this article.
You already have a message set up, but now you no longer need it?
Hover over the message you want to delete and click on the pencil icon, so that the editing window of the message opens. Then click on the the bin icon in the top right-hand corner and confirm the confirmation prompt with the "Delete" button.
