evenito allows you to link multiple event-specific websites with your defined URL to create a website. The following article shows you the first steps to create your your website. In addition, the further actions, such as the preview of the website, the editing and also the deletion are explained in more detail.
In the tab "Website" you can now add your event website using the plus button in the top right corner.
Define the following information in the open window:
1. You don't want to build your website from scratch, but use a website template? Then click on the dropdown and select the template you want. Before you can select a template, you must first create a website template and then save it. In this article we show you how to do this.
2. Name of the website.
When naming the website, please make sure that the name is displayed in the browser tab.
How to change the name if your website has already been set up, will show you HERE.
2. the URL of the website is made up of two components by default. components.
- The first component "URL" is event-specific, in this example 5aff-3f23. example, 5aff-3f23. You can change this part of the URL yourself when you website yourself.
- The second component "Domain" contains the general sub-domain. By default, the website runs via the evenito domain (evenito.site). If your domain has already been entered in the course of the implementation, you can select it in the dropdown.
The sub-domain used must first be linked to our CNAME, so that the content is displayed on the sub-domain. HERE you can find more information.
The domain can currently only be registered in your account by an evenito employee. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The entire URL may have a maximum of 64 characters. This includes all dots, hyphens and endings (e.g. com, .de, .ch).
As soon as you have entered the URL, the defined event URL will be displayed next to the website icon.
After publishing the website at the URL you defined, the automatic creation of the security certificate may take a moment (up to 30 minutes). Please reopen the website at a later time by clicking on the URL.
The newly created website template now appears in the overview. Hover your mouse over the created page to perform the following actions on the right side:
Edit your event website and store the desired content.
You can delete the website at any time.
Please note: this action is irreversible.
To copy the published website URL, move the mouse pointer over it. The copy sign will appear on the right side.
Please note: If the website has not been published yet, the status "Offline" will be displayed. To publish the website, proceed as described in this article.
