For even more efficient work, predefined templates are available in your account in the "Templates" drop down. In addition, as an organiser you can add or delete further templates. You can then easily select and use the defined templates in your events.
Click on the gear to the left of your user profile to switch to the organization settings. Select the "Templates" tab and then the desired template tab in which you want to create or edit a template.
Click on the plus sign on the right to add a new template.
If you want to edit an existing template, move the mouse pointer over it and click on the edit pencil.
To delete the stored templates, hover over them and click on the trash can icon. Please note: once deleted, the template cannot be restored.
Click on the cogwheel next to your user profile to switch to the organisation settings. Select the tab "Templates" and then "Message template(s)". Click on the plus sign on the right to add a new template.
Define the name of the template. This is a mandatory field. You can now choose the type (e.g. Save the Date, Invitation, etc.). In the drop down you can either select an existing template or continue without a template and design it from scratch. By default, you can choose from an evenito email template, which you can adapt or delete at your own discretion.
To edit the template, click on it. The email editor opens. In this article you will find more information about the email editor.
After you have made your changes, save them using the "Save changes" button.
Please note: Currently, the placeholder manager can only be accessed while editing the emails within your event. You would like to use the placeholders anyway? In the following article you will find the most important placeholders: Placeholders in the messages.
If you want to delete an existing template, hover over the desired template with the mouse pointer. The rubbish bin icon appears on the right-hand side. After you have confirmed your deletion in the pop-up window, the template will be discarded.
This way you can store as many templates as you like. Your created templates are listed under "Templates" and "Message template(s)". The templates are now available for all your events and can be adapted as needed.
The procedure for creating and selecting website template(s) looks similar to that of message templates.
Under Templates > "Website Template(s)" click the plus sign on the right and add a new template. Define the name and select an existing template as a base.
Please note: You have not yet created a template that you can copy? Then proceed as follows:
First go to the event in which you have already created the website you want to convert to a template. Click on the menu item "Website" and open the website template stored there by hovering the mouse pointer over it and clicking on the edit pencil.
Within the website editor, select this iconin the upper right corner and assign a name for your template. The template will now be saved in the organization settings under "Templates > Website Template(s)".
Please note: Website templates cannot be edited within the organization. To customize the template, please go to the desired event and open the template there. Make the desired adjustments and then save the template again.
Alternatively you have the possibility to duplicate the template by hovering over the desired template and clicking on this icon.
If you want to delete an existing template, hover the mouse pointer over the desired template. The trash can icon will appear on the right side. After you confirm your deletion in the pop-up window, the template will be discarded.
In addition to copying events, you also have the option of converting them to templates. This is useful, for example, if you have events with different complexities or different event types (virtual, physical, hybrid).
To create an event template, please return to the Dashboard. Now hover the mouse cursor over the event you want to convert to a template and click on this icon: .
