How do I enable the chat function for evenito connect?
To activate this function, first select the menu item "Virtual platform".
On the right-hand side you will see two features in the "Functions" area, one of them is the chat. Activate the switch so that the chat is available on the virtual platform.
How do I use the chat?
Choose yourself at connect.evenito.com with your token to enter the virtual platform.
The chat will be displayed at the bottom right with the following icon
Clicking this icon opens the sidebar with the chat. To communicate in the chat, click in the text field, enter your text and confirm your entry with the Enter key.
- This chat is a group chat, meaning your questions and answers can be viewed by all moderators, speakers and participants.
- The Lobby Chat is displayed as soon as a participant is on the overview. For each individual programme item, the system also automatically creates a new Session Chat. This session chat is displayed as soon as a participant clicks on the chat in a programme item. Each contact has the option to switch between the chats via the icon.
Each participant will only see the session chats of the programme items to which they were to which they have been assigned with the help of the groups. If no groups have been group, this session chat will be visible to all participants. visible to all participants.
- Currently there is no distinction between participant view and moderator/speaker view.
- Currently it is not yet possible to edit or delete chat content. So if you want to test the chat before the actual event starts, please set up a new test event for this purpose.
