What are audit logs?
Audit logs are the documentation of activities of your evenito users and your contacts in this event. The logs record where, when, how and which adjustments were made.
How can I see the logs?
To open the audit logs, please click first on the menu item "Event Center" and then on the tab "Logs".
The following contents are displayed in the mask from left to right:
- The 1st column shows the date and time when adjustments were made within your event.
- Column 2 indicates where the adjustments were made or by whom. "Website (Open API)" declares that the changes were made by the contact him/herself, directly in the registration form on the website. Alternatively, there is also the possibility that a user, who is created in evenito, has made adjustments (e.g. to the messages) directly in the back office. If it is the activity of a participant (e.g. the check-in or check-out), this is listed as "Unknown contact".
- Column 3 shows what type of editing was accomplished, e.g. "Contact edited" or "Message created/edited/deleted".
- The last column shows in detail which changes have been made and where.
Please note:
The scope of the audit logs will be extended step by step in the course of the next release. For more information, please see our release notes in the community section. Please note that you need to be signed in with your evenito login data to view this section.
In addition to the general audit logs in the Event Center, you can also view the more specific logs for the contacts directly in the menu item "Contacts". You can find more information in this article.
