As a space administrator, you can access the blocklist in the space settings. This list includes contacts who have unsubscribed from communications, as well as those who have generated a hard bounce.
Blocklist
To open the blocklist, click the arrow next to the space name, open "Space settings" and go to the "Blocklist" section.
You can use keywords (e.g., first name, last name, domain) in the search field to find the desired contact. To start the search, you must enter at least 2 letters or numbers. You also have the option to download this list as a CSV file using the download icon at the top right.
"Unsubscribed" and "Hard Bounce" status
You have the option to include an unsubscribe placeholder in your messages. This allows your participants to unsubscribe from e-mail communications originating from your sender domain. Please follow the steps outlined in this article for more information.
Participants who have unsubscribed from communications will be listed on the Blocklist as "Unsubscribed".
Please note:
When a participant unsubscribes from communications, they unsubscribe from the sending domain (e.g., evenito.com), not just from the specific sending address used (e.g., events@evenito.com).
Please note:
If a participant unsubscribes from communications, it may take up to 30 minutes for them to appear on the blocklist. If you use our provided mail server "Brevo" for sending your messages, participants will only appear on the blocklist after another message has been sent to the already unsubscribed email address.
For contacts listed with a hard bounce, the e-mail is permanently undeliverable. You can find reasons for a hard bounce in this article.
Remove contacts from the blocklist
If you hover your mouse over a contact, the trash can icon appears on the right. By clicking on this icon, you can remove the contact from the blocklist. Since this is a very sensitive action, it is necessary to enter a reason for removing a contact from the blocklist.
After entering the reason, the removal can be confirmed with the "Delete" button.
Please note:
A contact should only be removed from the Blocklist with the "unsubscribed" status if the contact has requested to resume communications.
