# Navigation in evenito

### General navigation

As soon as you have logged in and selected your space, you will be directed to your event overview as usual.

The **navigation** is permanently located on the left-hand side of your evenito back office. Its content adapts dynamically depending on whether you are currently in a space, an event or in the space settings.

The notification bell, the button that redirects you to the knowledge database and your evenito user profile are always available.

By clicking the arrow icon ![](https://help.evenito.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Bildschirmfoto%202025-05-22%20um%2015-15-56-png.png?width=26&height=18&name=Bildschirmfoto%202025-05-22%20um%2015-15-56-png.png), which appears when you hover over the navigation bar, you can collapse the menu at any point in the back office to create more screen space for managing your events.

### Space settings

If you want to open your "**Space settings**", first click on the arrow next to your Space name in the top left-hand corner.

**Please note:**

If your user account is linked to multiple evenito Spaces, you can switch between them under the "Other Spaces**"** section using this arrow.

After clicking on "**Space Settings"**, the navigation menu automatically updates to guide you through these settings.

The Space Settings structure remains fixed as follows and can be viewed and/or edited depending on your user role:

**General settings**

Here you will find the "**File manager**" and the "Basic information" of the Space.   
Additionally you can manage your "**Resources**" for the website and e-mail domain, the cross-event "**Blocklist**" and your "**Logs**" relating to the space level here.

**User, Teams & Roles**

Here you have the option of creating and managing your users, assigning them corresponding roles and setting up a team structure.

**Templates**

Here you can view and manage your templates for your messages, websites and events.

**Account**

Here you can view your licence and find your account manager.

### Navigation within your events

As soon as you open an event, the left-hand navigation bar will adjusts accordingly.

Below the Space name, you will see the name of your current Event. Below this, all modules activated for this event are displayed, organized in the corresponding groups as menu items.

**Please note!**

The display of the navigation depends on which modules you have activated for your event.

#### **Menu items and modules**

The navigation within an event is now divided into **logical groupings**. If you click on one of the menu items, it opens and all other s**ubordinate and activated menu items** are listed.

**Please note:**

If you click on a menu item, the top subordinate menu item for editing opens automatically.

**Example:**

If you click on **"Event settings",** the "**Basics**" for the event will open directly.

Additional features available for your Space can be found under the "**Modules"** menu item. Simply activate the desired modules for your event and save your changes.

The newly activated module will then either appear as a standalone menu item (e.g., "Tickets" or "Check-in") or automatically integrate into its corresponding group (e.g., enabling "Photos" places it under the "Content" menu item).

### Returning to your event overview

If you are currently inside an event or in the space settings and wish to return to your event overview, simply click on your space name in the top left corner.
