Highlights

Automate host communications: Automated e-mail notifications for hosts can be enabled under the menu item "Hospitality" in the subcategory "Host communication". The activation contains two automated e-mail types:

• Booking confirmation: Sends an instant e-mail confirmation whenever hosts complete or update a booking on the booking page.

• Contingency updates: Sends an e-mail summary whenever an event owner updates ticket allocations in the backoffice.
  
  

Improvements

• Custom Placeholders: User with the roles Space Administrator, Supporter or Event Managers can lock custom placeholders. A default value can be defined or left blank. Users with the role Event Creator must enter a value in all active event languages.

• Contacts: Exported contact lists now correctly maintain the sorting applied to the contact list in the evenito backoffice prior to downloading, in case a specific sorting was stored in a column.

• Spaces: When removing a User from a Space, the confirmation message states that the "User" was removed instead of "Item".

• Ticketing: If a contact declines an event invitation prior to purchasing tickets and later updates their registration status to "Registered", they are guided to the tickt shop again and have to complete the standard payment registration.

• Visual improvements: Corner radiuses on card elements and content padding across every menu item in the evenito backoffice have been refined for improved layout clarity.

• Phone numbers: The datashape "Phone number" in the registration form now pre-selects the country code based on the website visitor's current location. The full country name is displayed during selection, alongside search and filter functionality.

• Connect Polls: Duplicating an event or creating from an event template includes its Connect Polls, without previously submitted answers from the original event. Copied polls are created as unpublished and open for immediate publication.

• Guidance: Additional empty state guidance has been added to the menu item "Contacts" and the "All Events" overview to assist user Onboardings.

• Quick Check-in: Enabling "Quick Check-in" in the backoffice menu item "Check in" automatically checks contacts in upon scanning their QR code or searching via contact token.

• Web accessibility:

  • Social icons for speakers include invisible link descriptions containing the speaker and platform name for screen reader compatibility.

  • Error and status messages are processed to ensure screen readers transmit updates to website visitors automatically.

  • Form fields on mobile devices trigger automatic suggestions for name, e-mail, and phone number upon selection.

  • Navigation through multi-day schedules is supported using the tab key without requiring a mouse.
