[Release Notes](https://help.evenito.com/release-notes?hsLang=en) # Release Notes from 6th of October 2026 ### Highlights ***New event creation flow****Guided setup flow and structured template selection* A guided setup flow now directs users through the space’s template library, allowing core details - such as name, description, location, teams, time zone and languages - to be configured upfront before landing directly in the website editor. Additionally, users with the role "Administrator" can now define custom cover images, titles and descriptions for each template. ***New translation menu item****Central navigation access and AI-powered simultaneous translation* Event content localization is now accessible via a permanent translations menu item in the side navigation. Event content can be translated across multiple languages simultaneously with optional AI support. The current scope excludes Messages, Website elements and Form settings. ***New side navigation****Streamlined menu structure and consolidated event content* Core features - Messages, Websites and Forms - have been elevated to the first level of the main menu for immediate access. In addition, all event content is now grouped under the "Event content" menu item, permanently positioned directly below "Event settings".   --- ### Improvements - **Ticket Summary:** The ticket summary placeholder is now consistently sorted according to the order of the ticket type list. - **Contact upload:** Leading and trailing spaces in email addresses are now automatically trimmed during contact imports, eliminating manual corrections. - **Navigation styling:** The background color of the side navigation has been updated to harmonise with the tool's overall visual layout, placing greater emphasis on primary event content. - **Guidance & empty states:** Empty search results on the "All events" page and placeholders without a configured name in the active language now display informative empty states for clearer orientation. - **Logs:** Filter options for virtual platform chat messages have been removed from the logs view, aligning the filter selection directly with tracked system activities. - **Session check-ins:** On-site teams can now check guests directly into specific workshops or sub-events via the Check-In app. Tapping the event header allows teams to select an active schedule, bypassing main event action statuses for fast, continuous scanning at session doors, with all attendance data recorded directly in the back office. ---   Bug Fixes - **Duplicate registration:** Rapid multiple clicks on the form submit button are now reliably intercepted, preventing duplicate registrations. - **Companion registration:** Companion selection options are now accurately hidden for contacts without configured companion limits (including a general limit of 0). - **Schedules:** The schedule item datepicker remains fully accessible and editable after ticketing has gone live. - **Host Comms:** Host communication previews now consistently resolve handlebars logic (if-statements) by displaying actual sample data and scheduled notifications now accurately account for daylight saving time, ensuring prompt delivery at the intended time. - **Website Domains:** Matching website domains are now validated seamlessly without displaying unnecessary error or validation notices. - **Contact list:** The floating menu now reliably re-expands to show all actions when resizing the browser window back to a larger view.
