In addition to a personal invitation, evenito offers the possibility of inviting participants to the event with the help of a group token.
This function allows you, for example, to define a token for a group of participants who you do not yet know at the time, but who can register spontaneously using the token.
In contrast to the personal invitation via evenito message, where the contact is uploaded to your event in advance, the participant must enter their data in the registration form completely independently.

Create a group token
Would you like to create a token for a group of participants you don’t know yet but want to be able to invite spontaneously? Or do you want your partners to be able to invite an unlimited or predefined number of participants using a token?
Go to the "Guest Management" menu item and define your groups (e.g., name them after your partners or sponsors). Then, go to the "Group tokens" tab to create the necessary group tokens.
Click the plus icon in the top right corner.
Then enter a name for the group token that is only visible to you in the backoffice and define a custom group token that you can communicate to your guests.
This token can be either included in the link to your event website or communicated separately to be entered manually in the token input field of the registration form.
From the dropdown menu, select the group(s) that participants should be assigned to after registering.
You can also set a limit for how many people can use the token. For example, with the token “partner2,” up to 35 contacts can register.
Confirm your settings by clicking the "Add" button
This way you can create as many group tokens as needed and they will all be displayed in your group token overview.
Please note:
If a group token has a limit, this will be shown in the overview.
Edit a group token
Need to make changes to an existing group token?
Click on it, make your changes, and confirm them using the "Save & return" button.
To delete a group token, click the trash can icon either in the edit view or hover over the token in your overview and click the icon that appears.
Attention!
Deleted group tokens can no longer be used in this event. If needed again later, you'll have to create them from scratch.
View group token used by a contact
You want to know which group token a contact used during registration?
Go to your contact overview, find the relevant contact, and click the pencil icon to open their details.
In the contact details panel, you'll see the Registration section on the right, which displays the used group token(s).
Attention!
Group token details are not included in the contact list export.
To ensure this data appears in exports and overviews, assign each token to a separate group. Group assignments will be visible in exports and the contact overview.
Create a registration link with a group token
Want to include the group token directly in a link so it doesn't need to be entered manually, or so it can be embedded in a QR code? Here's how:
Assume your group token is "partner1".
Format the link like this:
Event website URL plus /?t= plus your group token
Example: https://evenitoconference.evenito.site/?t=partner1
Please note:
Copy the event link from your Website tab or the URL field of the live website.
If your event supports multiple languages, you can also add the language to the link:
German: /de
English: /en
French: /fr
Italian: /it
Spanish: /es
Dutch: /nl
Example (language French): https://evenitoconference.evenito.site/fr/?t=partner1
If you want participants to be taken directly to the registration form, add the anchor #rsvp to the end of the link.
Example: https://evenitoconference.evenito.site/?t=partner1#rsvp
You can also combine language and anchor:
Example (with anchor to RSVP widget and language English): https://evenitoconference.evenito.site/en/?t=partner1#rsvp
