Manage blocklist

As a space administrator, you can access the blocklist in the basic settings of your space. In addition to contacts who have been unsubscribed from communication, this list also includes contacts who have generated a hard bounce.

Blocklist

To open the block list, first click on the gear wheel in the top right-hand corner. Under "General settings" you will find the section "Blocklist".

You have the option of downloading this list as a CSV file using the download symbol Download-Button in the top right-hand corner. In the search field, you can search for the desired contact using keywords (e.g. first name, last name, domain).

Attention!

At least 2 letters or numbers must be entered to start the search.

Remove contacts from blocklist

If you hover over a contact with the mouse, the trash can icon Mülleimer-Symbol appears on the right. By clicking on this symbol, you can remove the contact from the blocklist. As this is a very sensitive action, it is necessary to enter a reason for removing a contact from the blocklist. After entering the reason, the removal can be confirmed with the delete button at the bottom right.

Please note:

A contact should only be removed from the blocklist if the contact has asked for communication to be resumed or if it is a hard bounce.

delete unsubscribed user II

Please note:

If a participant unsubscribes from the communication, he/she unsubscribes not only from the specific sending address used (e.g. events@evenito.com), but also from the sending domain (e.g. evenito.com).

Please note:

If a participant unsubscribes from communication, it can take up to 30 minutes for the participant to appear on the blocklist.

If you use the ‘Brevo’ mail server provided by us to send your messages, the participants will only appear on the blocklist after another message has been sent to the e-mail address that has already been unsubscribed.
